Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: BASIC BUDDHISM FOR A WORLD IN TROUBLE (Kindle Edition)
I enjoyed reading this short book. It is written with clarity and authority. It also appears to cover the important basic practices in Buddhism. I wanted to read some more by the author, but couldn't find anything, except a part of this book published separately DEPENDENT ORIGINATION, which is also excellent. I found it confusing that 'the book' is published on kindle in parts. The other part I found, on meditation, I might have bought, but I was unsure whether it was included in the 'main book' or another part of the book.

I agree Ken - this unique short book is written with clarity and authority, is easy to understand and covers with remarkable insight all the basics you need to know... But actually - Dependent Origination - is a separate publication and not in 'Basic Buddhism for a World in Trouble'. The other one you mention - Basic Buddhist Meditation - is in the main book:- under chapter titled 'THE METHOD IN DETAIL'.
