5.0 out of 5 stars Top Phone., 10 Dec 2009
This review is from: HTC Hero Sim Free Android Smartphone (discontinued by manufacturer) (Wireless Phone Accessory)
Nice and simple review because there ae so many long ones :)

Had Hero since it first came out. Had to decide between this and iPhone 3GS (used to have 3G). Picked Hero because iPhone just got boring, too restricted, apps so expensive, was pretty rubbish as a 'phone'.

+ Amazing touch-screen, higher clarity than most other phones
+ Loads of apps, both fun and serious ones, most are free :)
+ Very well designed interface
+ Looks very slick
+ Does everything i want it to do.

- The camera is rubbish at night.

thanks for review, very reassuring, I have read on other HTC phone reviews that Bluetooth only works with headphones, does Hero connect to printers and other devices???

Ah, I've heard similar due to some kind of restriction on how the Bluetooth can be used. Your best bet would be to type it in Google and check out the forums etc. Try the 'XDA' forums. I think the new HTC phones (Legend and Desire) have better Bluetooth support. Don't take my word for it though! You can send a support email to HTC too, check their website for more info. Ps, if you've got a few more notes to burn check out the HTC Legend, the Hero's successor, or even the Desire, which is crazy powerful, but bigger. They're both out in about a week!
