As anyone who saw the BBC drama "Case of the Silk Stocking" will know, adding extra adventures to the Conan Doyle canon is a tricky business, though there radio stories have an added legitimacy because they refer to those cases that were mentioned but only vaguely extrapolated on. As with the other reviewers, I found this to be well researched, entertaining what-ifs that only rare don't feel as though they could have been written by the master. The cases are complex but not to the point of irrelevancy and rattle along at a good pace. The performances are good as is the atmospheric sound design. Something to savour.
