Digitope Cassette to CD or MP3,
This review is from: Cassette to CD and MP3 (Electronics)
Ordered one day delivered 2 days later. No problems loading software onto my Windows 7 (you meed 1GB RAM. & 4GB free hard disc space). I found the spacing of tracks difficult (eventually gave up). Apparently you can listen to the cassette tape playing as you record to the PC,Cassette to CD and MP3 if you configure the PC microphone for listening. I did not try this since the recorded sound quality may be affected. During recording a message "silence is being recorded" kept coming up even though that was not the case. The real disspointment however was the poor quality of the recorded sound which was so badly distorted that I hardly recognised the recording artists. Over the last 3 days I have tried adjusting recording volumes, various formats (mp3, cda, wav, wma) together with different microphone configurations, but without any success. Therefore poor quality of the recordings would be the reason for my not recommending this product and my poor rating of it.

Completely agree with you. Waste of money and sound quality is rubbish. Did everything it said on the tin and still was rubbish.
