A worthwhile read,
This review is from: Yes, and Pigs Might Fly. Rosie's Story (Paperback)Stick with this novel. The almost unbearably heartbreaking situation of violence and utter depravity suffered by Rosie's family, whom we get to know and care about, is eventually resolved.
We get an insight into the world of domestic violence and the hardships faced by the homeless through Rosie, a strong and courageous woman who escapes from her own hell and chooses to help other victims of society.
There is a compassion and love in this story whuch drags us out of despair and leaves us inspired and hopeful.
I enjoyed reading about life in Greece and the lasting impression is of the importance of love and decent values within a strong family.
A worthwhile read - an antidote for depair.
