The Miele vacuum bags are well designed and engineered. We particularly like the way that they close when removed to keep all of the dust and dirt in the bag. The Miele bags are also colour coded so it is easy to select the right one. The red FJM size bag fits the smaller Miele machines (S4000-S4999), such as my S4212 (which Amazon does not currently carry). The Blue GN size bag fits the larger Miele cylinders (S5000-S5999). The loss of suction as the bag fills is minimal.
