A beautiful read,
This review is from: The Sea Sisters (Paperback)
I particularly enjoyed the authors description of the many locations in the book and can imagine it would make an excellent beach read. Although the description of the sea and the oceans was excellent I found it a bit overdone in places, as with some of the trite sentimentality between the characters.
Although not huge on the twists and turns each few chapters seemed to uncover more and more, layers to the story as well as layers to the characters. This kept me hooked from a few chapters in as I just had to find out what could happen next.
The chapters were easy to digest and overall i liked the format of the book but I'm unsure of the front cover and after reading it think a simple ocean scene would have fitted better.
Overall an enjoyable read.
