This review is from: BiC For Her Medium Ballpoint Pen - Black, Box of 12 (Office Product)
I can't believe this product is finally here. I've always been extremely uncomfortable, as a heterosexual man (god I hope so), having to use certain words. After speaking them or, worse, writing them (because it's more permanent) I have a harsh bout of self-doubt about my masculinity. Soft and weak words like "porridge," "delight," and "moisten." I think to myself "Your audience just observed you using the word 'supercilious,' you know they all think you're a homosexual now, right?" I then spend the next few hours thinking that I must actually be a homosexual. It's very painful.
But this pen has set me free - at least in writing. Now, when I'm forced to used a lady-word, I can write it with a lady-pen instead of my normal black one made out of titanium and coal. In that way, my hands don't have to carry the stain of gender confusion. "It was the pen that just wrote the word 'succulent,' not me," I can say. And it sort of works.
Thank you, BIC, for bringing this product to market for sexuality-fixated obsessive compulsives. This is a breakthrough on par with the discovery of SSRIs and cognitive behavioral therapy.
