If I had wanted a plastic watch I would have bought one,
This review is from: Casio AW-E10D-1AV Men's Bracelet Combi Watch (Watch)
I bought this watch because of what I thought CASIO appeared to offering. I wanted a stylish metal combi watch, slim lined, reliable and good for the money. And it seemed it was just that. The downside is that part of the watch is NOT metal but painted plastic (or should I say resin as they like to call it) which was very much apparent when the metal paint came off. On the second battery change most of the features were no longer working, the buttons had worn out very quickly within two years of purchase, so that I am now left with the analogue clockface only. Fortunately because I use the functions on my mobile phone, the importance of the watch has been downgraded. Would I buy another CASIO? I would have to think seriously about it as I balked at buying a replica replacement because the company would have been rewarded for a poor quality product. Best avoided in my opinion.

Yes strap is stainless. the watch itself is plastic sprayed with a metal film that rubs off within weeks. I'm returning mine
