Food or foot?,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Every Day (Paperback)
After reading all those raving reviews and going through the Index I was very excited and thought I need to buy this one. Unfortunately it's just another book about how you can do mashed potatoes right. Recipes are simple and extremely conventional. It seems that Granger is lacking fantasy, or inspiration, or just didn't bother to invent or tell us something original or new. Recipes in this book look like an awful rewriting from every over book I own, only worse. It's also very poorly organized. Since there are menus for every day of the week, you have to jump (in vain) from one part of the book to another in order to find interesting recipes. And why there are so many pictures of Granger's bare foot in this book? I'm the food-fetishist, not the foot-fetishist and I don't really want to see pictures of a male feet almost on every page. It's actually very unappetizing.

Ms. Felicia Davis-burden says:
Maybe the foot-thingy is meant to be subliminal. Bill wants you to go surfing to work off all the calories!
