It is a slow and basic unit but as it is 1/3 price of its rivals it is good value. If you just want to move files about and play a Blu-ray on your laptop or notebook it is ok, but it wont move large quantities of data very quickly, it is only 8x after all, and it says so. I bought it to install software onto my notebook and it does that adequately

i have one of theese for my pc at home it is generally a good product but it comes with a very short cable and i struggle to use it as the case is a little bit Flimsy and i tent to rest my finger tips to close the drive and the tray catches on the casing and does not close but other than that it is a good little device and i do enjoy waching blu-ray movies with it

The description mentions "built-in drive LG CT30F". The CT30F is indeed a high quality drive with Labelflash support. Unfortunately the case arrived with the Lite On DS-6E2SH instead, which doesn't support Labelflash/Lightscribe and is know to have its own issues. Just google for "DS-6E2SH problem".

Update:
Product returned. Got full refund including Shipping fees and partially Return Shipping fees (they've kept £1.10 without explaining why).
