I found this book to be comforting: the authors inspire confidence because of their experiences and backgrounds. The book is well organised and the writing is lucid. I think the only complaint about the book is that they could have made it longer by giving more examples at to what they wanted to explain. Of course, it is only a book, and no book can really take away your grief; grief is something that has to be lived with and worked through, hopefully overcome, and finally put aside; but such books can help you along the process at least a little, and it is good to think about matters relating to one's grief, for it is a gentle and therapeutic distraction. I recommend this book.
