4.0 out of 5 stars Good, inspirational and educating book for preschoolers, 27 Aug 2014
This review is from: Johnny The First Grader - Children's eBook + e-Video,Early childhood education(Children's animals eBook collection: Picture Book - Bedtime stories children's books collection) ( Dreams Bedtime Story) (Kindle Edition)
'Johnny The First Grader' written by Uncle Amos and illustrated by Malgorzata Gudziuk tells a nice story about growing up preparing for the event that is stressful for all children, no matter how much is beautiful at same time - the beginning of schooling.

The author introduces to reader a young Johnny who lives an exciting life in the countryside, play with and care for animals which fulfills him with great happiness and pleasure. And when sixth birthday will approach, Johnny will realize that one part of a carefree life full of games will finish to be followed with a school that brings some responsibilities and duties.

But Johnny will eventually see that school is not such a big deal and that besides learning can be also a place for fun and play...

With 'Johnny The First Grader' the author has done a good work which will certainly be of assistance to young preschool children who are preparing for an important step in their life - the first school day. The book in an interesting way talks about how carefree days spent in the game will be replaced with a school that carries obligations, but still leaves plenty of time for fun and play with peers.

If into account are also taken the lovely illustrations made by Ms Gudziuk, Uncle Amos created a good, inspirational and educating book for preschoolers that I can recommend.

This review is from: Johnny The First Grader - Children's eBook + e-Video,Early childhood education(Children's animals eBook collection: Picture Book - Bedtime stories children's books collection) ( Dreams Bedtime Story) (Kindle Edition)
This is the kind of book that any young child from age 4 to 6 (first grader) will enjoy. It is full of color and adventure. The protagonist, Johnny, celebrates his 6th birthday and prepares to go to first grade. Johnny is not afraid of leaving the farm and beginning school. He looks forward to it.

Once there he makes friends and enjoys himself learning about the world. He tells his mother when she picks him up, "I love school. I can't wait to go back tomorrow!" If I had a school age child, this is the book that I would be sure to read with them. It is very good preparation for children who are going to school for the first time, kindergarden or first grade. This is a tool that will please both parents and children. Highly recommended.

"Johnny The First Grader" by .Edith Ordan is a beuatiful happy children's book about Johnny, who loves it on the farm where he lives, but who has to go to school soon.
A simple but very lovable story with wonderful illustrations and lots of fun.
I am an adult but I enjoyed the happy character the author has created. Spoiler alert: Johnny will like it in school, so parents, this is a great book to get for your kid to prepare it for the fun that there is to be had at school.
Just lovely.
