Brilliant second book in a promising series. In this book the story begins to show how it will differ from Moonlight Sculptor, exploring themes Life and Death in this new world. Highly recommended, looking forward to the rest of the series to be translated!

Its ah ok book with great potential just not fully reached I hated smoking being made into it for one and dying kids going perm on purpose was annoying for 2 of a few but it defiantly not worth the price of £4.57. Thats expensive for an ebook so expect excellent for it at the leas and great grammar and spelling excetra may be worth about £1 or less really £1.50 at most.
It did have a great cliffhanger of an ending tho.

Sigh oh well...

I really enjoyed the second book in the series, the plot is great and keeps you fully engaged with the continuing story. I can really Imagine myself in Altar world affecting everything around me, if you love pure unfiltered fantasy this trilogy is for you. I cannot rate this book enough and read it in one sitting. Fab.

absolutely great plot and character development.

amazing cliffhanger building the tension towards the next book in the series.

would recommend this to anyone who plays games whether intensive or casual, as a great way to relax. makes for a nice change from typical genre's

The storyline is disjointed and although there is invention aplenty ideas seem to appear without logical progression. Consequently the simplicity of volume one is made turgid. Now I feel sufficiently diffident about reading volume three at its inflated price that I will probably not bother.

Thought would be fun with all the funky adventures but all the quests r sidetracked with other stuff and although that's fine n everything but the sidetracked thing is much longer than even the quests itself.

Worth reading. The series keeps getting better and better.
The book is filled with twists and turns and will seriously make you loose track of time.
