Walter Matthau had one of those faces you either liked or wanted to slap. A very distinguished accent that sounded like every word was a struggle to escape from his mouth. He depicted sleepy laid back kind of guys that didn't give much of a hoot for authority or authority figures. I remember his performance in a western called The Kentuckian starring Burt Lancaster. He was the bad guy and didn't make life easy for what was the inteloper. He had success in several films with Jack Lemmon of course and used to rub Jack's character's up the wrong way with his solving lay ways. Does this ebook give Walter Matthau justice perhaps. It is certainly worth reading. I recommend it.
