Warranty repairs only valid when shipped to America,

A very nice looking watch and seemed good quality for the price I paid. However, after only 2 months of wearing the watch, the glass face fell out. Without a watch face, it is obviously no longer waterproof etc. I contacted Amazon who said it was too late to return or replace after 1 month and told me to go to manufacturer. Apparently the watch face or crystal is not covered in the warranty and it will cost $35 US dollars to replace plus a minimum of $20 dollars for shipping. So overall not a good buy at all.
