You know what you'll get with Vader and you get it here, in fine style as always. The one thing that sticks out for me is the quality of the lead guitar playing (also a high point of the previous album). Peter still has his crazy harmonic squeals and whammy-bar abuse of course, which is as much a part of Vader's sound as his voice, but Spider plays some really melodic yet brutal solos and it really brings things to life. The drumming deserves a mention too from James Stewart who really impressed me and made me forget the loss of Daray a few years back.
For me, the high point was "The Beast" but this album comfortably sits up there with "Revelations" or "Impressions in Blood" and if you ever liked anything of Vader's, you'll love this too.

This album is epic, melodic, brutal, fast and darkly atmospheric, in short it is a Death Metal Masterpiece from beginning to end!!! Vader have never let me down in the past and the quality just keeps on coming! Peter and cohorts have unleashed a new Death Metal marvel upon the world and it is safe to say that it is awe inspiring to say the least. The guitar riffs are heavy, fast and darkly moody, the Vocals are as clear and menacing as ever and every word can be heard with crystal clear clarity. The Drums are incredible and meander from lightning speed to driving tribal rhythms with jazz like frills and fills. the bass is driving and accompanies the drums perfectly. Last but certainly not least the guitar leads, wow!!! They are incredibly melodic and haunting and evoke very strong emotions in the listener, in short they make me swoon in ecstasy!!! If you love Vader or top notch Death Metal then this album needs to be in your collection!!! I can wholeheartedly recommend this album as you will not be disappointed at all!!!

Great and massive album, as long lasting fan of VADER I was a bit unsure what can I expect but it was really great surprise. Music done really good, more in new style but with "old spirit", cover and booklet made great artistic way. Album worth of buying

While some may point to their recent releases as being quite weak or just ordinary, Tibi Et Igni presents a rejuvenated Vader. It is clear that their sound has evolved, and this album shows that Piotr and gang have perfected it. Tibi Et Igni starts off furious with Go To Hell, incidentally the title they have used for most of their recent tees. The album grips you by the head and doesn't let go. Hexenkessel is a great standout track. All their songs are innovative and they breathe a new life into Death Metal. Piotr has found a great guitarist in Spider, and their talent shines in their crazy faceripping riffs.

In all, Vader might be an old dog in the scene, but they have never once lost their bite. They're ferocious, and ready to rip your face off once again.

Amazon ships this perfectly and on black vinyl. A killer record, recommended for everyone into Death Metal or venturing into it.
