Fantastic read .the story draws you in ,the charecters become real and the devotion between Harvey and Lily describes the bond between dogs and humans perfectly . This is the first time I have ever read the same book twice , both times from start to finish without putting it down !

5.0 out of 5 stars A Pint Sized Hero, 29 April 2014
This review is from: The Hungry-Man (Kindle Edition)
Ever wondered what your pet dog sees when they're looking in the corner of your living room? Or what they're barking at when there's nothing there? Well Louise West knows, because her doggie hero can see dead people. In fact, all dogs can and in this gripping and original story, our hound hero Harvey, sees the mother of all ghosts and he's threatening to hurt his mummy.

This is a really original story seen through the eyes of a pet dog and the love he shows his owner, Lily. This is a thrilling ghost story and a touching story of a pet's devotion to his mummy and the lengths he'll go to protect her. It's also really funny, when we see the world through Harvey's eyes, his Zoomie's with pal Bailey and his Wee wees.

The Hungry Man had me gripped until the end and I genuinely didn't know how it was going to end and whether Harvey would be successful in protecting his mummy. An original story that was very well produced and definitely worth downloading.

Good book. A very good read. Really enjoyed the way that it was the dog telling the story. Plays well on the thought that animals can see things we cannot. A good storyline and well thought out.

Such a good read. Louise West has hit on the right voice for her main character, a dog of course, who I followed throughout the story gripped, and also at times pretty spooked. Will I be looking too hard out of darkened windows, no fear I'm keeping the curtains closed.
