This was the debut album by The Outsiders featuring the one & only Adrian Borland, later of 'The Sound', 'Second Layer', various other projects and an artist in his own right.
This album is a real worthwhile addition to any collection, it's raw, a bit punky, but you can hear glimpses of what was to follow here. You can see already where Adrian was heading, because there are songs here, rather than just riffs, and even though it has the feel of a well recorded demo at times, that just adds to the whole excitement of these recordings. A great job by Cherry Red, and a great price...well worth the money, and for any fan of The Sound, an essential purchase.

I first bought this album (vinyl days!) back in 1977, just when punk was becoming an explosion. I loved this album then and even more so now, thank you for releasing it on CD, well worthwhile. The track 'Break Free' still remains very special.
