5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!!!!
Where to start, the best band to come out of Los Angeles since Poison Steel Panther have the musicianship and songwriting skills to be up there with the best of them. Satchel's guitar playing on here is phenomenal, Stix's drumming, like a well oiled machine and Lexxi's bass driving along like a freight train. Michael Starr shows off his amazing vocal range as per usual...

3.0 out of 5 stars Act 3 from the Sunset Strip revival.
This album has a harder edge than Feel the Steel & Balls Out. Stand out track is Burden of Being Wonderful.
The rest of the album is good. Live performances are always polished and well staged.

This review is from: All You Can Eat (Audio CD)
Every bit as good as their first two albums.Track seven "The Burden Of Being Wonderful" is so mainstream it could qualify for airplay on radio two.The rest of the album could most definetly not! Best way to listen is in the car with the volume full up.Rock On!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars For the sheer quality, this album is a steel, 14 April 2014
This review is from: All You Can Eat (Audio CD)
I am loving this album and I think it is fair to say, it's far better then their previous (second) release, Balls Out. One of the reasons I love Steel Panther is their ability to craft such excellent rock songs, the vulgarity and comedy is just an added bonus. As a band, you can hear they have advanced and I actually think Satchel's guitar playing skills have become more honed, the solo's now have more depth and better phrasing to them. The craftsman ship on the songs is brilliant with their being some soft and some phenomenal hard rockers, the single "Gloryhole" is so radio friendly and along with "She's on the Rag", you'll find your self humming along after the first listen; most tracks are so damn catchy.

Buy this album now, else you will regret it when you're caught in the wake of Steel Panther.

This is definitely a future classic, and has what are probably the funniest lyrics I've ever heard in music. I would recommend this to anyone with a sense of humor, a taste for good music, or both!

It's like the last 25 years never happened. Steel Panther may be a comedy act but if you loved 80s hair metal, this disc will have you punching the air.

Just as funny as the first albums, only this one is more polished and shows more of themselves; not just an 80's parody band/ tribute band, but an 80's celebration band. And it's great fun.

Stix's drums are so tight you'd swear the guy was a human metronome, Lex's bass is the essence of unobtusive groove, and Satchel's axe-work is unequalled. And Michael Starr is like the love child of David Coverdale and Robert Plant.

There are some really catchy riffs throughout: 'Gloryhole' and 'BVS' are superb up-tempo tracks, and 'You're Beautiful When You Don't Talk' and 'Bukkake Tears are slower but easily their equal.

If you like the first two albums, get this one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Beware the gritty inner sleeve!, 31 Mar 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: All You Can Eat [VINYL] (Vinyl)
Fab album, just what you'd expect! Filthy but hilarious lyrics. Only problem is the inner sleeve is full of fibres, paper I think, and as a result the record is covered in dust. Had to rehouse it in a different inner sleeve and give the actual record a THOROUGH clean. Don't want to return it as it's pressed on an ace yellow and orange vinyl and don't want to run the risk of getting plain old black! Not a deal breaker I know but just be careful when removing the disc if yours is the same as mine as it may get scratched. Fave track after first listen? Bukkake Tears! That should give you an idea of what to expect from the rest! Nice heavy duty card sleeve, not gatefold like the previous two LP's. Full lyrics on the inner sleeve.
