5.0 out of 5 stars The Business
What at first seems like an odd alliance makes the most sense when you realise that Mick Green and the Pirates were the common denominator, shaping Wilko's guitar style and steering The Who towards its powerful approach with rhythm and lead guitars lines flowing seamlessly in and out of one another.

There are no prizes for innovation for the music on this...

3.0 out of 5 stars Solid bluesy - good but not great
I love this in places, especially being a fan of both The Who and Dr Feelgood. Solid bluesy sound but Daltrey sounds a bit strained at times. Wilco is solid and chruns out the riffs as well as ever but my main criticism is that it is a bit one dimensional. Hence it gets a "good bit not great".

Top Recording for any lover of Wilko's music.
Rger Daltrey puts a different sound on the vocals of some
Dr Feelgood greats.

If this has to be Wilko's swansong then getting together with Daltrey was inspired genius. Wilko's unique stuttering guitar and Roger singing like some teenage upstart with something to prove help make this my fave album of this year so far.

Best cd I have heard in a long time. Daltrey's singing is a perfect match up for the music and the band are excellent.Hope to Wilco in Dublin 30th May.

I love the album but it jams on the third track, have sent a note to seller and had no reply so far. very disappointed in the time it's taken for them to reply. I can't play this item as it skips and jams.....The album as a whole is wonderful and for a very good cause...but the seller is very poor!! don't bother with them try somewhere else to get this album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great harmonica, 25 April 2014
This review is from: Going Back Home (Audio CD)
All has been more or less said about this great album. What should be highlighted is the absolutely brilliant harmonica playing of Steve "West" Weston on four of the tracks. West's harp work adds value to the total concept.
