Did much camera case searching until I tumbled on this. The Lumix TZ60 is such a recently-launched camera as I write (June 2014) there wasn't enough info out there to say this was the right sized case for sure, especially with only one review for this one. However, I'm pleased I heeded the advice of that one review and I've just received my case today. First impressions are favourable. Looks well-made with inside lining, padded enough to give good protection and is a very snug fit for my camera with additional pocket for a spare battery and memory card. Everything I was looking for really. Only gripe I have is with the postage and packing cost, which seems a little steep to me for a small and light package that fits through a letterbox. However, the turnaround from ordering to receipt was very quick, so I can't fault them there and this case seems a better choice for this camera than Panasonic's own, which at around £40 doesn't even have battery or memory card storage. Well done Gem!

Good bag, adequate padding, good fit to the camera, quite compact so can be shoved in a pocket. Velcro and snap-fit fastener allows quick access to the camera. Front zipped compartment for spare battery and memory card. Rear Velcro belt loop allows bag to be taken on and off belt as wanted. Strap allows you to carry it round your neck if you want. Well made, good value.

This is a brilliant little case for my recently purchased Lumix TZ60. I used it umpteen times a day when on a two week sunny climes holiday just recently. It is easy and quick to get the camera out of the bag - no fiddling with zips. It helps to make sure the wrist strap is attached to your camera to avoid any possibility of the camera slipping out of your fingers as you withdraw it from the bag. The case protects the camera well and there is a separate compartment at the front (this does use a zip) to hold a spare battery and card. You can use the bag over your shoulder or through your belt.

Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Having purchased a new Panasonic Lumix TZ60 camera I found that it was too long to fit into my previous lowepro compact camera case so I had to look for another one. Looking at the internal dimensions quoted with this one H.104mm, D. 33mm, W.60mm (the camera dimensions are 110.6mm, 34.4mm, 64.3mm) I nearly didn't consider it as I thought it would be too small. Thankfully I looked at the reviews which were mostly from happy TZ60 owners and decided to purchase it. So pleased that I did as the camera fits perfectly snug enough to hold the camera nicely in place and easily accessible when required. The quality is just as good as my previous lowepro case.

Nicely padded little case with a zipped outer pocket for extra batteries etc. Easy Velcro release for the belt clip, and a shoulder strap. This case probably wouldn't slip Into a handbag, unless capacious, but is fine for a man's coat pocket.

I bought this camera case for my Lumix DMC-ZS40 camera which was a gift and didn't come with a case. I am very pleased with this little GEM case which is exactly what was required and is well made and robust.

Excellent little pouch for my Lumix tz60. A perfect fit and very good protection for my camera, but easy enough to remove it for picture taking. Small pockets for memory card and spare battery a bonus.

Maybe "I hate it" is too strong, but for the desired purpose to house a TZ60 I found it useless the camera has to be pushed in to firmly for my liking and there is still 1cm of camera sticking out the top.

Case seems well put together but is too small for the TZ60

Update "30/06/2015" Was contacted by representative from GEM RE. My review, I am glad that manufacturers take an interest. The rep wanted to clarify if there was a problem with the case. I explained that the TZ60 went in viewfinder first so that the grip is in the correct position to get a purchase on when being removed again. And it was a tight fit with some of the camera still exposed

The rep suggested placing it in the grip end first, which may allow the camera may go in all the way due to this end being thinner than the end with the EVF. However getting the camera out may be more difficult as fingers would be pressing against the lens or pulling on the EVF itself.

Changed the rating to 3 stars from 1 as if i had a camera that would fit in this bag comfortably I would have kept it

At first thought this was really good but the zip pouch would be better if it had only a short zipper across its top. Also anybody who has a camera that is switched on by pressing the start button rather than sliding a switch will find that it is VERY easy to switch on the camera inside the bag by stuffing it into an already packed backpack/handbag etc.. I solved this by carving a bit of the plastic end of an old 35mm slide box, and sticking it inside the Gem bag to prevent the on button from being pressed from outside the bag.
Not sure how waterproof this bag is and don't want to find out the hard way. Therefore put it in a plastic bag when raining.
