This is a total waste of money do not buy! There are about 60 pages with lists of foods that are allowed all spread out with huge gaps and spaces and includes all vitamins and minerals. There are only a handful of recipes and they can all be found online anyway.

Awful book with very little content & recipes you wouldn't really want to make. I do not recommend.

This book was very thin, and really just listed the foods that were acceptable to eat, it would be great if it could have given a 7 or 30 day plan to follow as well

What an appalling book - it's not a book, half of the entire book is just a list - my fault should have read the reviews. On the back cover it states ' the natural way to lose excess pounds' but on the inside it suggests you may actually put on weight - it's poorly and appears cheaply published, not of good quality in appearance, the content is not very good sparse and is basically about a gluten free diet and contains a bunch of lists, no pictures of any foods from suggested recipes - page 34-90 is just one long alphabetical list of allowed foods which include acetophenone, acetanisole, aliginic acid, oleoresin, tagatose etc etc. The book tells you nothing useful and must be the worst purchase ever - threw it in the bin, couldn't even be bothered to return it. The back page was misleading as the contents are not reflected in the back page. This book is 131 pages but 60 pages is just one list of ingredients found in foods that you can eat. How ridiculous is that, 60 pages of a list! I couldn't possibly recommend this to anybody. The author states she provides meal plans - well only 3 - just one days meals for a Paleo cook, one days meals for a Paleo dieter and another for a busy person. That's it. It contains about 21 recipes.

Paleo diet excludes grains but rice flour recommended in this book!
The author clearly does not understand what is a grain and what is not.

I found this book really helpful, it goes into alot more detail than most paleo books about the basics, the lifestyle, what you can and can't have, even to the pint of identifying all the food products that have gluten that you wouldn't necessarily think...well worth a read
