This is an album of highly accessible songs, despite it falling into the prog genre. The musicianship is great, but never there for the sake of it, ala Dream Theater et al. Simon Mc Bride appears on 3 tracks, and impresses as ever. His playing is closer to anyone, (even Joe Bonamassa), to deservedly filling the massive gap left by the late, great Gary Moore, and here he indulges some of his rock and celtic influence, with beautiful melodic notes interspersed with some shreddy fury. My only "complaint" is that the track containing some of Gary's last ever recorded guitar, doesn't show him at his best. Yes, Adaggio is a beautiful piece of music, and a fitting tribute in this respect, but Gary's guitar tone seems thin and too reverby, especially in comparison to Don's band guitarist, who also plays on the track. Gary's playing would never pale in comparison to anyone's, but here it seems a little like a first take add on. That said, many thanks to Don for keeping the spirit alive, and including a nice written tribute to Gary within the booklet. Overall, this is a very enjoyable album and highly recommended.

I got it today in Canada and i just listened to it. I can say this cd is great and quite recommended. I feel it like a blend of excellent music, old and new stuff. I did not know what to expect about it. Great songs, great players and guest artists, nice to listen to Gary Moore in a couple of songs. I am looking forward to playing it again. Buy it without hesitation.
