5.0 out of 5 stars A triumphant return
With such an absorbing back story there was quite a build up to this album and high expectations. 2.0 out of 5 stars More a keepsake
I really wanted to like this CD, the back-story, the Stormbringer legacy ... but I'm afraid I just didn't warm to this. The arrangements are strong, overall it's nicely produced but the songs don't grab me and I don't find the vocals come to life with the exception of the bluesy Levee Breaks where Beverly gives it some proper bluesy power.
