This review is from: TEFL Teaching the Weihai Way: The Diary of a TEFL Teacher in China (Experiences in Foreign Lands Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
I really like Maggie's short stories as they are humorous and give a western reflection on living in a foreign land. It's also quite awe inspiring that they have done this with two small children! I find her style of writing very easy to follow and that makes it a very enjoyable read. I would definitely read more from this author. It would appeal to anyone that likes to travel to places off the beaten track, and for those with kids, that miss travelling to places off the beaten track but would rather read about it in front of a roaring fire with hot chocolate.

A very interesting and readable book with insights into the lives of ordinary Chinese people. I found it difficult to put down. It's written as a journal and I kept thinking I'll just read about one more day.
