On the face of it , it seemed good value for money. WRONG. After one use it failed to work. Contacted the seller and the exchange of E mails etc. is still ongoing. A 2 year Guarantee and 4 weeks since purchase and Andrew James are talking about repairing I have insisted on a replacement as it maybe a one off bad appliance that I received, or I would be happy with a full refund. I don't think I would entertain any future purchase from this company.

Started to give off a strong smell of burning plastic immediately. I only used it for several seconds at the time so the motor should not have burned out, Returned the grinder for a repair, having had only in my possession for a few days. The smell got really strong and I was worried that it could burst into flames. I am not impressed with the company as they have not been in touch to let me know when they are sending another although they first suggested a repair. I have had several grinders but I like this one in particular because of the metal containers all the way so no plastic particles get into the food.It has excellent grinding results with only several seconds pulse. I only wish that the manufactures of coffee/spice grinders used the technology of .a DIY drill which copes with much heavier work without smoking.

This is an extremely poor quality product, not fit for purpose. It is being sold by the seller under false promises.
On the face of it , it seemed good value for money. I was WRONG. After three use it has completely stopped working. Spoke with the seller ( Extremely unhelpful and uncooperative). They said they will send the return label am still waiting nearly a week on. It is just couple of months old (2 years warranty).

Bought this because I wanted a wet and dry spice grinder for curries. It arrived but without paperwork - neither a receipt (so no formal proof of purchase) or a returns label (so difficult to send back). The instructions, which did come with it, contradicted themselves (so unclear which grinder insert to use for which wet or dry). The machine itself is physically unstable and generally dangerous. Avoid.

I am very disappointed with this product? I bought this product for wet grinding. It works on first time but on second time there is strong smelling of motor burning and plastic smell. I thought it was only from motor and not inside from the cup. So I continued using for one week. But last time I noticed small PLASTIC PIECES coming into food!!! I threw all my purée away!
I bought this one to make purée for my baby. Now I am very big worried that very small plastic particles would have entered into the purer that I have making and giving to my baby. I can only hope that it does not harm my baby's health now!

I originally left this grinder a 5 star review writing as I did 5 days after first using it. 4 months on and roughly 7 separate uses later and it has finally fallen apart completely.

After using it with no issues the first time it went rapidly downhill with a new piece of plastic from the underside of each grinding attachment breaking off with each use. I found myself grinding spices and then having to sift through it for plastic debris.

A piece of cheap junk ! Im buying a pestle and mortar now !

I have a number of blenders.
This is now my favourite.
Has 2 separate containers - one for dry foods (nuts, coffee etc) one for wet (apples, carrots, greens etc) which is very useful if you want to mix ground nuts with purees for example.
You do need to add a little water to the wet foods to aid blending (but not too much or it spills over a little), but even raw vegetables are blended to a smooth creamy consistency (they are left unpleasantly "bitty" by my larger blender).
Is limited to about one large apple a time, but you can always blend in 2 or 3 goes if you need more, whereas with a large blender the minimum quantities for efficient blending can be too large for one person for one meal.
I imagine it is great for baby foods (I remember wrecking several coffee grinders whilst preparing baby foods, though at least my children always loved proper food including vegetables as they never had any packet or jar baby foods).
Easy to clean; easy to store as quite small.
If I didn't have any other blenders, I could manage fine with just this one.

One of the best kitchen appliances we have bought as it certainly works extremely well and is easy to maintain

This was to replace a Revel Wet and Dry Grinder which had eventually broken down (see other reviews for the issue).
It looked more substantial than the Revel and I hoped it would have a longer flex (it couldn't be much shorter than the one on the Revel - my biggest gripe with that grinder!).
It is not as robust as I had hoped.
It has a wet grinder and dry grinder (the Revel just had one grinder which worked well on both wet and dry ingredients), so I have to keep reminding myself which is which.
I found it quite difficult to get the grinders in place.
The push down lid (which activates grinding) is a bit light to the touch and (dangerously) went off when I was ready to take the ingredients out of the grinder.
I don't really like it, but it does the job it was bought for - grinding wet and dry ingredients.
I wouldn't buy another, nor recommend it - I did with the Revel.

Searched long and hard for a machine that does what this one does. The only alternative to the Ravel wet n dry, but this is better. Great little machine. Stylish and versatile. Bought it to replace a much more pricey Ravel that eventually tore itself apart. Words of caution. 1. If you want chunkier veg, take your time. This beast will puree a mixture of garlic, onion, ginger and coriander in seconds. As I have just discovered. Take it a blip at a time. 2. Make sure the cups are locked on to the base. There is only one position. Find it and then twist the cup clockwise to lock in position. This will ensure that you don't become one of the "cog melters" who have been posting bad reviews.
