not what i expected, but a very good read, kept me up late on a couple of nights so had to force myself to put it down. bit of a surprise really, i thought it would be about william the conqueror, but it's much closer to today's politics.

An interesting view on history.....a real 'what if' and writtIen well. Some bits were a bit (or maybe a lot) farfetched but it is supposed to be a story and is not more farfetched that some authors and a lot less than others

A brilliant and very well researched fantasy based on one of the best "what ifs" in English history. I, and a number of my friends, found it fascinating reading. Well recommended to any history fans.

I good exciting read. Well thought out plotline. Historically well put together, but for a few fortunes of war, fate, could well have been true! Enjoyed it immensely. Recommend it!

Entertaining, and a fun plot, but the writing in places is pretty terrible. I outwardly cringed at times. Good escapism though and I am not sorry I read it.

Interesting concept. The plot could have been a little tighter.I would like to read another of John Paul Davis books to give a more positive assessment.

dreary. he proceeded drearily. I drearily read it to the dreary end. Needs to spend some time writing short stories and get a more ruthless editor.

What a splendid plot masterfully composed and rooted within the unproven fate of The Princes in the Tower and the plausibility of their survival along with ensuing descendants and legitimate claimants to the throne throughout the centuries. John Paul Davis has triumphed again in producing something almost impossible to put down.

Though at some points the story seemed to draw out, it was still enjoyable. Felt not completely enthralled by the story.
