A brilliant 7" Picture Disc of two versions of Rebel Rebel. Having followed Bowie's career from almost day one, I have enjoyed his music through the decades. I was always an 'Album' collector so did not bother with the 7" singles which usually came out prior to the album release. It was many years later that I went round record fairs and collected his work in the 7" single format. Now today I am collecting the new picture discs. These discs are very much playable but I do have them as collectables rather than for playing. Good to hear the version mixed for the American market and I do prefer it to the original version on the 'A' side, this is possibly due to hearing the 'A' side version so often it makes a change to hear a slightly different version.

Opinions seem somewhat divided over these 7 inch picture disc re-issues.

I personally like them and they are a treat for the fans.

Aesthetically, the quality of the printed image is good, with the reverse showing Bowie, again with guitar and eye, patch sitting on a stool.

The b side is the US single version of the same song.

Each copy comes sealed by a sticker in the top left hand corner.

Bowies last stab at glitter rock could not have been better served by any other song. The real treat here though is the B side. The American single version is a real punchy, more poppy version that is worth the price of this single on its own. This is a great set of releases that every Bowie fan should have. Worth buying a turntable for.

Bought the original when it was first released in the mid - 70's and have continued to listen to it since.
A great classic in its own right and to re- release it in this magnificent collectors edition, is a bonus.

great pic-disc of a classic tune from the 70's - david bowie showing he is still the master - can't wait for the next one.
