4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Read
I have been reading science fiction for a very long time, 40 years +, and think that I am able to determine good from bad and the downright mediocre. This book has pleasantly surprised me. It grew on me and the characters are likeable and the plots plausible.

1.0 out of 5 stars Could have been written by a 12 year old
This book reads like a report on someone else's novel: huge chunks of plot are summarised in a sentence or two, and the characters are almost comically unbelievable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sometimes deus ex machina can be OK...., 28 Mar 2014

I enjoyed this book. It has a story which flows and characters who are enjoyable without being *too* stock. Not too much suspension of disbelief required and a sci-fi milieux which hangs together well. A good light read.

Not finished reading yet. Once I got past the first chapter, it all made more sense, and become a more enjoyable read. Have now finished reading this book. Very much enjoyed. Will definitely be buying book 2.

Very imaginative writing. Just the ticket for an old sc-do wrinkly.
Can't wait for the next instalment to be issued.

5.0 out of 5 stars but I'm a fan of not drawing stories out as the reader gets bored if there's too much description of things, 4 July 2014

Fab book. Stretches the imagination and occasionally the time frames are a little hard to swallow, but I'm a fan of not drawing stories out as the reader gets bored if there's too much description of things. This is a no-nonsense "up and at 'em" sci-fi book - just my cup of tea and can thoroughly recommend it!

4.0 out of 5 stars A page turner! fun read and fast moving, 23 Jun 2014

Excellent light fun. A bit overly simplistic and skipped over many areas of a changing order in world behaviour but this made the book very readable and a fun page turner. I liked the concept of advanced technology meets our timeline. I'll look out for next in the series. Keep up the good work.
