As I've mentioned before in my reviews, I just lopve this series and have all of the DVds. This one was great since I love Christmas and it's always interesting to see Christmas as a backdrop for murder. I love the cover of this DVD with everyone, including Skyes, wearing Christmas attire.

Midsomer Murders isnt so good as it was with John Nettles at the helm, its like putting Poirots friend Hastings left to to solve a crime on his own,Neil Dudgeon is a good actor but not I am sorry to say in this part, they should have put a new man in charge instead, one that is not a well known actor but a good one who would I believe make the part his own, as John Nettles did, then it would and could be the Midsomer Murders we love to watch............

Wow, what a disapointment. Thin story line. Poor acting at times. This must be the end.. Having seen all , in this series. I found that the only one worth watching, is the Copenhagen Killings....With the departure of `Jones` , it seems like the last bit of magic has gone...The near family approach that the Barabys try to show, just doesn,t work.. You have to be a hard core fan for episodes 96,97, 98 99....

"I hate it" was selected not for the quality of the series which is excellent, but rather for the blatant marketing ploy of offering each episode individually priced. Series 16 has 5 episodes (this is one of them), all of which are enjoyable viewing, BUT by buying them individually as currently advertised on Amazon you'll be spending almost three times the price (56+ vs 20+) of a "complete series" set...shame on Amazon or whomever is responsible for such gouging. Saw this series on TV, but will wait until they're offered as a much cheaper "complete series" set. Buyer be aware!

Too bad this isn't a year round, weekly program! Also, too bad John Nettles sought out retirement. Thank you all!

Barnaby's new partner still needs to adjust to his new situation. I am sure he will in future stories. The new actor has very lsrge shoes to fill i'll keep watching.

Not wonderfully noteworthy but nice family Christmas viewing and I think the "new Barnaby" is good the transition was smooth

My wife and I will watch any new Midsomer Murders. We have every show since The Killings at Badgers Drift. Every winter while we are snowed in we start at the first show and continue until the last show that was released. Keep making them!!!!!!!!!!!!!
