The name of Stauffenberg is known to all while the name of Adam von Trott has largely been forgotten. MacDonogh makes a plea for this brave and honourable man who sacrificed his life to rid Germany of Hitler.

very good book, gives lots of detail of events, I have read lots of these types of books in this one there are lots of people I didn't know about. it was a little heavy reading in the beginning but very informative, makes one wonder if the government wanted war as the British took no notice of attempts to bring war to an end, there is lots of evidence of with British help it could have ended years early even not at all I recommend this book fully
