5.0 out of 5 stars Final journey in Clone's Drexciya compilation series, 24 Dec 2013

It's very much to Clone Records' credit that they have taken their time to curate the works of Drexciya. Four individually released albums (of which this is the last), rather than one indigestible box set. Music to be played and not coveted.

For me, the big surprise with this final volume was the inclusion of six (well, five plus an interlude) unreleased tracks, only one of which is, perhaps, not absolutely top-notch.

As for the previously released stuff, does music get any better than "Water Walker" or "Living on the Edge"?

Criticisms? More of an observation than a criticism of the quadrilogy as a whole, not necessarily this CD, is the omission, from the group's UR period, of "Aquaticizem" (originally on Interstellar Fugitives) which was perhaps their maddest ever piece.

I hope Clone keep all four LPs in this series in print indefinitely, as this is music not to be forgotten.

Next stop - the Red Planet?
