I couldn't put this book down.

After reading exhausting the Roman period, this book was a welcome change. Cant wait to start the next one in the series

Although I usually read mostly Roman genre this is an excellent take on the epic poem of Beowulf Mr May has really brought the characters to life with a gripping tale of murder and intrigue. I have added his other 2 books to my to read pile. Keep it up Clifford.
