5.0 out of 5 stars Makes you think
I really enjoyed this book. Fast paced, suspenseful, intriguing, and the author is more than a little knowledgeable about the subject of GMOs. It really makes you wonder how far the government is prepared to go to prevent its secrets getting out there. Recommended.

2.0 out of 5 stars Weak story
Completely unbelievable story and unlikely protagonist. Genetic modification science background didn't ring true. Machinations of big business and government just a little too conspiracy theory to be acceptable.

This thriller has all the ingredients of a page turner. A fantastic plot, well drawn characters and a writing style that is both controlled and artful. The book manages to explain some of the wider concerns of genetically modified food whilst delivering a story that you'll remember for a good while to come. Its handling of contemporary issues doesn't detract from the book and in fact makes it all the more plausible. Good. Marvellous. Outstanding.

5.0 out of 5 stars On the edge genetic spy thriller, 4 Dec 2014
This review is from: Spy Thriller: An Involuntary Spy (CIA Thrillers, conspiracy, espionage & spy thrillers, spy novels, genetic engineering sci fi, conspiracy, pulp thriller, spy stories & tales of intrigue): Death Spy? (Kindle Edition)
When a genetic modified food biologist turns whistleblower and escapes with top secret reports to Russia you get an awesome spy adventure. An Involuntary Spy is a fast paced thriller that is well written, researched and held me cover to cover. Seth Rogan’s life on the run in Russia takes a shocking turn. Spy training, falling in love with a beautiful young teacher and trying to stay out of trouble was a blast. Plenty of twisted and turns kept the plot steaming along with lots of political tension and an action packed ending that absolutely rocked. I’m looking forward to the next Kenneth Eade novel.
