2.0 out of 5 stars Slow and unexciting
I enjoyed volume 1 of this series and was looking forward to volume 2. Unfortunately it was a bit of a let down. The story is, for me, not exciting or enjoyable.

For a better read from DC I recommend the Wonder Woman titles.

This storyline runs through issues #6-12 of DC Comics' `New 52' title `World's Finest', staring the Robin and Supergirl of Earth 2 - now marooned on Earth 1 as Huntress and Power Girl - and collected is as Worlds Finest Volume 2 TP Hunt and Be Hunted (N52). This time they are at the receiving end of various baddies revenge attacks, as all that stealing of advanced technology and fighting international criminal organisations catches up with them. There is also a bit of flashbacking as we see Power Girl's connection to the missing Michael Holt (Mr Teriffic), amongst other things. This is an excellent series, with great art and scripting that has managed to shoehorn in the `old' Power Girl and Huntress of the long-lost Earth-Two as well as elements of the new Earth 2 and stuff from the pre-New 52 characters. This really is how the New 52 should be used.

THE SPOILER ZONE
Issues #6 and #7 - `Family Matters' - sees the Huntress teaming up with Damian Wayne when he catches her breaking into the Wayne financial computers. It turns out someone else has been helping themselves to the money also... and they eventually find a Boom Tube at the end of the trail... Helena and Damian end up bonding at the end, which happens just before the `Death of the Family' event over in the Bat titles. I remember the JFK episode...

Issue #8 sees Helena targeted by assassins as a baddie she has crossed in the past puts a bounty on her head. Power Girl is active in these stories also, as she is discovering Apokolips technology interfering with her activities...

Issue #9 sees a mercenary team invade Power Girls' Pacific island headquarters, with extreme prejudice, to steal back technology and research she in turn had `borrowed' from Michael Holt...

Issue #10 sees Karen taking revenge for the earlier attacks, and Helena visiting the grave of her `brother' Damian, before digging deeper into the secrets of Michael Holt - who has now mysteriously reappeared. We know that he's actually a prisoner on Earth 2, if we have been reading the `Earth 2' series...

Issues #11 and #12 sees open conflict break out between Holt and our heroines, as we and they discover that he's actually been replaced by a senior agent of Apokolips...
