Great cast - but terrible script - such a missed opportunity for something great. very flat and very predictable

I love all things about the mafia and love seeing Robert De Niro reprise his gangster roles from the past, even though they are mostly comedy now, and in this he plays 'Giovanni Manzoni' alias 'Fred Blake' an ex mafia don and now FBI informant relocated to a french village in Normandy, and Michelle Pfeiffer plays his wife 'Maggie Blake'. The two are quite funny in parts as their backgrounds and personalities start to impact on other people in this sleepy french village, and Tommy Lee Jones is also quite funny as 'Stansfield' an FBI agent who pops up every now and again to keep an eye on them. But, the good cast assembled here by director Luc Besson (Kiss of the Dragon) and (Taken) is eventually let down by scenes involving their children which were pretty much boring to watch and not really necessary at all.
