This review is from: 8 Classic Albums (Audio CD)
With the release of this box set of Henry Mancini you get
"Eight Classic Albums" spread over 4 Cds.

Like the rest of this excellent and bargain priced series the Cds have no information and minimal information but heck they are a brilliant bargain.

At the time of writing Amazon do not give the track listing.
So this is not a review as such just some information so that potential buyers can actually see what's on the CDs
The sound has been remastered and The Real Gone Music (Jazz) label have received much praise for how they have done this BUT I would urge you to check out more knowledgeable reviews including the Amazon USA site. .

As you can see the eight albums are spread over 4 CDs.
This annoys a lot of people who would prefer each to have its own CD but the amazing price really does make up for this I would suggest?
The 4 Cds are held in a simple card case with minimal information if any!

The set includes the albums
"Peter Gunn (1959)",
"Mr Lucky (1960)",
"High Time (1960)",
"The Blues And The Beat (1960)",
"Mr Lucky Goes Latin (1961)",

Gives a great coverage of film and tv music written by Mancini and explains why Mancini won so many awards. Covers American TV programmes that I don't think have been shown over here.Real easy listening.
