Fun for kids, tedious for adults - cheap construction
on 5 December 2015
My 6 year old daughter loves this game, but as someone who played Monopoly Junior many years ago, it's an extremely pared down version. Game play lasts about 20 minutes maximum.
Personally I find it pretty boring, as does my wife, but we play along for our daughter.
Playing pieces and well made, but the 'sold' counters are cardboard, chance cards are pretty small, and finally there is no 'insert' for all the pieces to sit once play is over, leaving you to sort the pieces out each time you play. (See photo)
If you get the chance, I'd go for an older 'roller coaster' themed edition. It's more like the adult monopoly and is fun enough for adults to play along with their children
