OK for a generic tablet - but don't rely on the seller's description (or the battery life)
on 10 February 2014
Mine arrived towards the end of the delivery estimate range but I didn't expect anything more for £59.99.
The screen resolution on mine is 1024x600. The Android version is 4.2.1 (not 4.2.2 as in the description).
Booted up first time with no problem and connects well to my WiFi so far. Mine was set to a Chinese timezone by defalt - at this price you need to expect to do a bit of fiddling around.
Those who complain about not being able to install aps must be unlucky. I've installed quite a few apps and all are working fine.
I'm not too familiar with configuring all the screens (my phone has a custom GUI on top of basic Android so I'll need to do a bit of googling to find out how to move things around in native Android).
If the text is tight to edge of the screen some pixels are under the bevel edge. Screen quality is not too impressive but if, like me, you just want a basic web browser while you watch TV it may be adequate.
BBC iPlayer seems to work OK so far.
The battery seems to be very poor. I lost 20% of the battery reserve after 25 minutes. This is not a deal breaker for me as I would tend to use it for a short while then switch if off. Do not expect to be able to use this for the stated 6 hours without recharging the battery.
Finally, for those of you who have experience of other tablets, the tablet I was supplied with takes 55 second to "boot up" to show the unlock screen.
