5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful - right up there with the first
Discovered to my delight that the sequel had been published a couple of days earlier than thought and have just finished reading it. It's safe to say that if you loved the first you will also adore the second.

Max and her St Mary's friends continue to rampage their way through the timeline, surviving mostly unscathed (and if there are a few scars ... well,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Skipping through history
Symphony of Echoes continues the adventures of the time travelling Dr Maxwell in a kind of Dr Who meets Indiana Jones meets Mission Impossible. Max and her team hop through history on series of ill fated missions, creating carnage and chaos wherever they go. This particular book takes us from the Victorian London to a future version of St Mary's and back to 16 century...

Just starting the 3rd now!!! Can't put them down, I need sleep but so engrossed in the dramas of Dr Maxwell and her colleagues from St Mary's. These books make me laugh, cry and keep me on the edge of my seat. This is an exceptional series of books about time travel and I'm learning so much about history too. Download or buy, you will not be disappointed!!!

Have had a fairly unproductive Saturday with the exception of reading. I read this book from cover to cover today and loved it once again, the twists and turns that Max and her gang have to sort out. This book started off with a bang in Whitechapel and didn't stop pleasing all the way through, edge of your seat stuff. I'm off to buy book 3!!

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic series, 6 Nov. 2014

I love this series, the realistic cynical female protagonist keeps everything fresh and the reader rooting for her. The stories are intricate enough to leave you wanting to read another chapter to find out what happens without being ridiculously far fetched, which is very talented considering the books are about time travelling historians!!

Wasn't sure if the rest of this series would match up to the first book, but I wasn't disappointed! I might actually have to check out some of the historic details as they seem so real. This is a fabulous series, I have now bought all of them and hubby is reading them too. Quite British humour - especially the on-going tea...

This is my all time favourite series. Nothing better than snuggling up with these books and a nice cup of tea. A laugh out loud moment in every chapter. I get chills every time I read about Jack the Ripper in the pod. A MUST read for anyone who likes time travel, comedy and general trouble makers. Thank you so much Jodi.

Wow! What more can I say! Thank you to the previous reviewers who took the time to give feedback on this free book which in turn made me down load it. It's an absolutely great read if you like quirky sci-fi Terry Pratchet style books you'll enjoy it. Have to go - off to down load all the others in the series.

This writer is amazing. All her stories are full of description, funny and look at the subject from an amazingly new angle. I've never read books so quickly. I haven't been able to put them down.

Another well crafted enjoyable book from Jodi Taylor. Can't wait for the next installment, will history help or hinder St Mary's? Bring on Troy.
