5.0 out of 5 stars Practical contemporary comments on the Bhagavad Gita, 18 Oct 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Gary Weber's work has taken away many of my doubts as a meditator and replaced them with strong confidence to persist with self-inquiry.

Subject in numerous scientific studies, Gary is the living proof that it's humanly possible to be permanently without troublesome thoughts and remain fully functional.

Who could be better placed to write contemporary practical comments to the Bhagavad Gita?

"[...] Gary Weber. We have scanned him in the FMRI work we are doing at Yale and he lives in the present more than anyone else we have yet scanned (we have scanned 100 or so experienced meditators)"
- Jeffrey Walker

"Enlightenment for me is what Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta, Patanjali's yoga sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Tao Te Ching defined, which is to have no thoughts."
- Gary Weber
