I'm a veteran at using battery packs with iPhones. I need my phone for work and - similar to its predecessors - the standard iPhone 5C battery just doesn't cut it.
Generally you have two options. 1) To buy a clip on battery pack like this one or 2) Carry round a separate mini recharging kit. For me, always on the move, (2) is impractical and one more thing to remember so I always go for (1).
Previous clip on battery packs have doubled or trebled the weight of the iPhone as the spare juice needed can be a hefty load. This Kinps charger wins hands down for what it can do.
(i) It's easy to clip on and off and runs off the iPhone charger, unlike some previous chargers which were bulky and needed different USB leads.
(ii) Most important of all is the extension to battery power. I get at least another full recharge out of it ... yet you wouldn't think that was possible from the weight of the case, it hardly adds any bulk at all but is still a good protective case if you're stupid enough to throw your phone repeatedly on the floor.
(iii) Looks. I bought the blue battery pack and most people thought I'd simply bought a new stylish case. It also has a nifty little leg support if you want to tilt and support the phone on a flat surface for hands free of speakerphone or watch a TV stream.
(iv) I bought this 13 months ago and it's still going strong, the case providing protection and power as well as it did from day one. Worth adding that the case doesn't scratch easily either so looks just as good as when I bought it.
One very happy punter ... who still works too much.
