Really pleased with this, Just upgraded my computer with a new GPU so i had to get a better Power supply unit, bought this and i'm not displeased comes with many connections and its actually pretty small, i thought it would be bigger, my only Dislike about it though is the fact that the Wiring is thick plastic, so even though i'm running this in a mid sized Computer case, its pretty crowded in there.

Ample power for most high spec systems with one or two gpu's and overclock capable.

Currently running one 280x O.C'd, 16gb ram, i7 4790k O.C'd @ 4.8Ghz, h80i, 6 fans, ODD, SSD, 2HDD's

And the fan still hasn't moved meaning im utilising less than 40% of the actual power, even when under maximum load and stress testing. Totally going to grab another 280x and crossfire this bad boy

Nice modular design, plenty of cables (1000W model). I replaced my Extreme Gear XG-H1000 which let the magic pixie dust escape in a "pffft". After tearing out the old unit and installing this, my rig is a lot neater too.

The cables are flat, so you can bend them to shape to keep things extra neat, and despite initially looking a little short, I didn't need any extensions.

This power supply is probably over the top for my system but works silently because the fan only comes on when required which is never on my system as it never gets that demanding . Connect ability is just great it has every option you would want with good quality connectors with good firm fixings and surprisingly quite compact so fits into the case with no problems.

Never have I had such a silent and efficient power supply. There's no discernable electrical noise, the voltages are incredibly steady and I've yet to see the fan spin up under full load. That's with an AMD FX 8320 at 3.6GHz, an unlocked AMD HD 6950 2GiB, two large mechanical drives, two SSDs and about eight 120-140mm fans. If you want power without noise, this is the power supply for you.

The only small niggle was that they sent the wrong power cord with the device! Fortunately I had the one from my old power supply, but if you're buying this for a new build, pick up a generic 3-pin "kettle plug" (as my family always calls them) so you can power this device.

Great PSU. SATA power cables are split into 3 so can add 3 devices to each cable. and there are two. this is the same with the IDE power cables. motherboard power cable is located on the right so easy access to run behind the motherboard as its quite thick. fan is silent and no noise. screw supplied. fits into Corsair Obsidian Series 750D case perfectly.

I increased from 750 to 850w because comments about the graphics card and motherboard indicated they might need a bigger supply. Power supply is excellent with all the power cables necessary. The fully modular design is definitely worth the slightly higher cost since it means you just use the cables you need and it is much neater. Would recommend.

Quiet and reliable PSU. I struggled getting the mainboard connectors securely into hte PSU initially, but discovered brute force was the answer. Once up and running, this PSU is quiet and runs beautifully. Pleaty of cables provided, which is good. The customary lack of documentation from Corsair helps make every build a challenge, of course!

Really only worth going for this PSU if you want to use the corsair link. The standard PSU modular cables that come with the unit are really stiff and not at all flexible enough to make it really easy to hide the cables inside the PC case.
Otherwise the PSU is quiet and should provide enough power for multiple hardware configurations.

Gets really hot. Custom build PC was over heating and this guy was the cause. Extra rear fan was needed to keep the heat away from the other components. Don't expect this guy to act as an outlet fan. Not had any power issues though. Build was a micro-ATX high-end gaming rig, in a larger build the heat issue may not be a factor.
