Sonic Generations: Essentials (PS3)

Bought this game my Autistic son and he loves it! Easy to play and keeps him entertained for a couple of hours

Kids loved it and brought back memories for me and the wife.

I had not played a Sonic game since the old days on the Game Gear. I love platform games and had just finished the two Little Big Planet games which I loved. This is a completely different sort of game. The emphasis is very much on speed. At times its moving so fast its almost impossible to see what is going on. Graphically it's really nice, very bright old school arcade style.
Overall this game is just a bit too manic for me, I like to have time to ponder and look around. If you are a Sonic regular you will probably be used to this, and love it.
I can't see me finishing this game.

Sonic Generations got here really quick. This has a really good mixture of old- ish style with new modern style. It's very playable and most importantly fun other sonic games have been lacking over the years.

Bought this back when it came out and bought it again and revisited. Hasnt aged well, retro platformer which has no market in todays modern industry
