What is supposed to be a fact-based novel about trafficked sex slaves is actually cheesy porn. It trivializes the real horror that women in this position must live through, and often don't survive. The author should feel deep shame for writing this. She can't possibly believe she's doing anything to help trafficked women...she's only making money from their plight.
An interesting read, but sadly, it felt like it dragged on, many of the short stories were much the same. I am fascinated with books on this subject, I was looking for the book to relate more about the overall lifestyle not just clips from hundreds of women. This is the first book I have been disappointed with.
