Item arrived before Xmas

Contained no packaging, identification of what it was or instructions so made my own as they were part of a gift.
Had ordered more than one packet of seeds and luckily was able to work out what I'd ordered because of seed size but some identification of which were which would have been helpful.

Hopefully they will grow.

Although the seed was panted in good quality seed compost and placed in a heated propagator, only two out of the ten seeds germinated.

These are not strawberries - I don't know what they are exactly, they smell slightly minty, but none of the plants from any of the seeds I got grew into anything even remotely resembling a strawberry plant. If anyone knows what these plants are I would be much obliged.
I got ripped off, and many other people are getting ripped of too.
The beauty of it all is that it takes months before you realise you have been ripped off, long enough beyond the ebay/paypal feedback periods to expire beyond you being able to get your money back. Not to mention growing anything from tiny seeds is always tough, many people will just fail and give up, or realise the fake and not do anything about it.
Please avoid falling for the same scam I did.
EDIT- Seems some of the colorful varieties of strawberries do actually exist, whether the seeds being sold for those colors are actually real or not is another matter though.

Arrived in a little plastic ziplock bag and was pleased to note that there was fifteen seeds rather than the promised ten. There was no planting instructions so scarified half and planted the other half straight in a cling wrap covered tub. I know it can take a while for stawberries to start, but there was nothing and the compost went off. Not sure what I did wrong. two stars for quick reply to sale. Sadface for lack of plants.

Despite reading the other review, I had hoped for more than a few seeds in a tiny clear poly bag with absolutely nothing to identify them, or with any planting instructions.
Can't give feed back on germination yet, but for a couple of quid, they've made an unusual gift!

I would not buy anymore seeds from Amazon they arrived in a black plastic bag no instructions at all ,they have been planted but up to now no signs of life and to be honest I do not expect anything to come from any of the seeds or variety planted very disappointed.

I did not leave my feedback until I have got the berries: instead of black strawberries I got ordinary wild strawberries. Very disapointed
