5.0 out of 5 stars Very Capable Little Camera
It may look like a toy, or a child's camera, but don't let its diminutive size fool you. This is a very capable picture taking machine, with full manual control (if you want it) and RAW capture. In fact, I find it almost as featured as my DSLRs. The image quality is surprisingly good, by way of a 1/1.7" sensor. This is larger than the previous models in the range, and...

1.0 out of 5 stars a few menu languages are missing
It is not a big issue for most of the users in the UK, but be warned that the menu language does not include Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.
Before I brought this, I had checked the Ricoh official UK website. it clear indicates that the above languages are included in the product sold in UK [...]
The package itself has...

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Capable Little Camera, 5 Feb 2014

This review is from: Pentax Q7 Compact System Camera with 5-15mm Zoom Lens Kit - Black (12MP) 3.0 inch HD LCD (Electronics)
This is larger than the previous models in the range, and the picture quality is noticeably improved over the Q and Q10 - not that there is much wrong with these cameras. The big plus point of the Q system is its size: one can carry the body and several lenses and not notice they are there because of their small size and light weight. Other compact system cameras are now approaching the small size of the Q7, but when you add lenses to the mix, the Pentax is by far and away the most portable of the interchangeable lens camera systems available today.

A quick word about the lenses. Currently available are the 01 8.5mm f1.9 Standard Prime (approx 39mm 35mm equivalent); 02 5-15mm f2.8-4.5 Zoom (24-70mm Equiv); 06 15-45 mm f2.8 zoom (70-200 Equiv) and the 08 wide-angle zoom 3.8-5.9mm f3.7-4 ultra wide-angle zoom (17.5 - 27mm equiv). There are also a number designated as toy lenses for fun photography, including a fish-eye. I can only speak for the first three lenses, which I own, and I am perfectly happy with the image quality I get from them. Pentax also manufacture an adaptor with built-in shutter to attach its range of K-mount lenses on the Q7.

Verified Purchase(What is this?)

The package itself has multi-language descriptions including Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese, giving us the impression that those language are included in the display menu. Unfortunately it is NOT.
raised the issue to Amazon but no response.
