Wanted two tracks especially, Wake Me Up and Oh brother. Some tracks a bit too rock-like for me, but it's an interesting different CD, Haven't heard of Avicii before, love the c&w type music they do.

Awesome album! I was a bit confused when I saw this advertised as Avicii's debut album, then I realised - although he's been around for a few years now, he's released a fair few singles but never an album! This was well worth the wait - pretty much every song on here is good. A few of them aren't my cup of tea to begin with, but they get better later in the song. Wake Me Up is definitely the best, followed closely by Dear Boy and You Make Me. Great album, worth the money.

I have been a huge fan of Avicii for a long time now, and he never fails to deliver. I like the genre fusion of house and country and it is a change from his old style but that's good in the way that people started complaining that his tracks sound the same! This album is well worth buying, unless you do not like the change he made for this album. The tracks released so far have been hits and I wouldn't be surprised if all the others make it as a hit when released!

I work in a kitchen and had heard a number of Avicii tracks being played on the radio. Taking a liking to them I thought I'd check the album out before making a purchase, so I had a listen through the first few tracks on youtube (making sure I liked more than the tracks I'd heard) and thought it would be an ideal buy. Having given the album a listen through, it was what I expected with the first few tracks (dance tunes, catchy, upbeat) - these were also the tracks he had released off the album as singles/videos - so I had presumed the rest of the album would match the same feel. I have never been more let down from buying an album in my life. The first few tracks were great but then it just veers off into drum and bass, slow dance and repetitive drums for minutes on end that I could only imagine DJ's and dnb lovers to enjoy.. I couldn't believe what I was listening to, baring in mind this is a top radio artist. If I could write one single sentence about this album it would simply be 'Don't be fooled by what you've heard from Avicii, he's definitely released the better songs to pull you in.' and in one word? 'Radiobait'. Absolute garbage. Would definitely have to think twice before purchasing anything else from this guy again.

I bought this on the strength of Wake Me Up and after more listens, the other tracks such as Hey Brother start to get noticed too as really good pop songs.

Some tracks seem a little bloated in that they go on too long, but as someone who still likes some dance music and always enjoys a good melody, this album has a feel good factor that makes you want to play it again, especially when driving.

What an amazing debut album by Avicii! He is so incredibly talented, and has a very clear vision of music.

My favourite track from the album is 'Lay Me Down' by Avicii, with the amazing guitar-playing by Nile Rodgers, and the brilliant vocals of Adam Lambert.

I also love the other tracks such as 'Wake Me Up', 'Addicted To You'. Can't wait for more music by Avicii!

Absolutely brilliant album, Avicii is an outstanding artist and going to be the most sort after musician for 2014. After having a phenomenal 2013 and constantly being top of the charts worldwide. True is filled with an array of music which each track being different so you think that it's an album that sounds like a mixtape, you wouldn't know it's the same artist.
