I work in IT more than 16 years. Last year I began to feel pain in my right wrist, and that was symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. I have to use computer mouse because IT is my job, so I started to find a solution. I heard earlier about vertical mouses, but models like evolution etc was big and I did not believed that I can move that big mice all 8h. So searching web I found this new DXT mouse, watched video and I bought 2 of them - for job and home usage. I feel better after first 3 days of using and after 3 month I can say - this is great device ! No more pain, I can work on job, play at home without doubt. The only thing that I wished to work better - sleep mode and radio-connection: mouse are not awaking if you move it (may be accelerometer chip could solve this) and sometimes when I move it freezing on the way - may be because some other radio devices are working around - more testing needed (I have logitech wireless one - and that one can awake after move and have off button). But despite this issues this is very good and usefull device, my DXT working from full charge about a week (2-4 hours every evening at home). I suffered that I can’t play World of Warcraft with this vertical mouse - but I was wrong - this is possible, and much more - I can play longer :-) With this DXT02W I walked-through Pandaria and Draenor with no pain in wrist. Thank you CityErgonomics for this design, thank you Amazon for delivery and support !

I love the mouse - not cheap but really good. Feels solid works beautifully.

Customer service was first class.

When the mouse first arrived it wasn't working properly - the battery wasn't charging at all. I emailed the company and they responded within an hour or so. One further email to provide them with the Serial number of the failing mouse and they sent me a replacement which arrived the next day. This mouse worked (and is working) perfectly.

Love the ease with which it can be switched between left and right hand mode.

Suffering from a shoulder problem for some 6 years now, I have tried several agronomical mice in my endeavour to alleviate my shoulder pain, pain that is accentuated by the use of a regular mouse. I have found the vertical mouse to be the most effective in this domain and in particular, the DXT mouse. Despite its small size, I have found it to be more ergonomic and comfortable to use than more cumbersome vertical mice (I was initially seduced by a much larger vertical mouse which turned out to be less comfortable and quite difficult to adapt to). Over and above the ergonomic benefits, the compact size and wireless performance have made this an ideal mouse for business travel. This mouse comes with my highest recommendation for anyone looking for an ergonomic, comfortable and practical wireless (or wired) mouse

This is a nice little mouse & is definitely a lot more comfortable to hold/use than a standard mouse. I thought it would take some getting used to, but after about 5 minutes it felt completely natural. There isn't much else that I can say which hasn't already been covered in previous reviews & I would definitely recommend it. I deducted a star because of 2 things, the battery life could be better, approx 3 to 4 days heavy use, i.e. 10 hours per day, plus it's not that easy to move around with the USB charging cable plugged in, but you will survive! The 2nd reason, is the fact that it is a little on the small side for a person with large hands!

This is a great device, the small size and high resolution make it easy to keep your hand relaxed and furthermore the sales and after-care from City Ergonomics is superb. Highly recommend both the company and the product, an easy five stars here.

TOP 500 REVIEWERon 26 September 2013
I've tried quite a few ergo mice over the years: the Evoluent VerticalMouse 3 Wireless - Right Handed,Ceratech Accuratus Upright Mouse - Mouse - optical - wired - USB - silver, soft black, the WOW PEN.JOY BLACK and 3M Optical USB Ergonomic Mouse, Wired, 3 Buttons, Large

I got my first wired DXT a couple of years ago. It took a little getting used to because - like all ergo-mice - its shape is markedly different to run-of-the-mill mice.
But, once acclimatised, I found it to be the mouse I'd always been looking for, in that it prevented my wrist/arm-ache after long sessions with the computer (I'm a software engineer). The mouse is shaped and designed so that there is no difference in the mouse if used with the left or right hands. After a couple of months use I became ambidextrous with it and have even switched to preferring my left hand to my right (I am left-handed but always used the mouse in my right hand previously).

This wireless version is the same size/shaped mouse as the wired - without the wire! As such its the natural successor to my first model and I'm finding it just as excellent. When switching from left to right hand the wire could - if not cautious - become entangled with other things on the desk; cups of coffee being a particular hazard.

All the features of the previous model (my review of it is at http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R2JKG1B3MXQHW4/ref=cm_cr_pr_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B003ZK73WK&linkCode=&nodeID=&tag=) are present: the button that switches the mouse from left to right handed, the button that cycles through the mouse sensitivity (500 - 2000 dpi in steps of 500), the nice soft buttons and the smooth mousewheel.

When you pick it up there is no doubt it is a quality product. The casing is plastic, the base is metal and screwed to the case (with tiny screws) not clipped. If feels solid and well made.

I'm absolutely loving it and would recommend it to anyone in the market for such a device.

Update (5-Jul-2015 - after 3 years solid use): Still got this mouse, it still works and still use it every day (I work in IT). It's battered, bruised and the anti-slip coating is wearing away where I grip it. I've de-gunked the mouse wheel several times and dropped it more than once. It works as well as first day I got it.
On another note, i've developed a strategy (to cope with the long hours at the keyboard) where I use this, a 'normal' mouse and, on occasion, a track pad. I find that by using them in a round-robin fashion and switching hands (it really does just take practice) I can stave off any aches and pains before they get a chance to set in. I wouldn't mention it except that I did (mention it) to a colleague, he started doing the same thing and has seen good results too. Your mileage may vary - but it might be something to consider if you're having problems.

Hugely annoyed. 1 year and five days since spending £100 on my second DXT mouse and it has done the same as the last DXT mouse I bought .... stopped working! These mice are very comfortable to use but tend to be quite quirky and not particularly accurate to use at times. However, as the best shape to relieve repetitive use issues I stuck with it. But , two mice in two years?? That's £200 on mice! I will replace with another brand as many more now available. Very unreliable, great pity.

I've been using the wired version for the last couple of years and couldn't rate it high enough - if I could give this product six stars I would (I gave the wired a 5!) I know it is high end but the price reflects the quality of the product, you get what you pay for and for me, it is worth every penny. I use the computer day in day out and work without any pain.

Had the wired version for 2 years and it really worked wonders for my shoulder. Fancied the wireless version so my hr department purchased one for me.

Prefer without wire which allows me to use the mouse mouse infront of my keyboard.
